What does it mean when the panel heater flashes rE in display?
On electric heater panel display continuously flashing letter rE means that the power cutout was for more than 24 hours.
These letters flashing occur for ADAX or GLAMOX heating heaters with programmable digital thermostats DT in software version S2 and S3.
Panel heater still heats but only at 17 0C or the lowest confirmed temperature to avoid unwanted higher energy consumption. All programs are deleted and thermostat must be reprogrammed.
